Jumpsters & 3 Brothers Bagels will close for all Parties. NY Bagel Sales and Jumpsters On The Move Classes today due to Gas Leak On Sharon Raod

Jumpsters will proactively close its doors on Wednesday 2/27, due to a gas leak in the area that has shut down Sharon road and what we have heard are parts of Peachtree Pkwy. We were told by Forsyth County Police to evacuate the building" said Chad Potts, Operations Director for Jumpsters Entertainment and 3 Brothers Bagels. "Fortunately, we were ahead of the game and smelled the strong gas smell outside" At around 3:30, we contacted our neighbor in the shopping center (Kroger), and they are still shut down until further notice. "I knew it was a serious leak when it was difficult to stand outside. The air inside was much better than the strong gas smell that surrounded the Sharon Green Kroger Center." We are 4 doors down from Papa Johns and 3 doors down from Forsyth Sporting Goods, and both of these neighbors were also asked to evacuate. As of 3:30, Police and Fire Rescue had blocked Sharon Road from Old Atlanta to Peachtree Pkwy. There is also possible news of an evacuation of South Forsyth Middle School. All of our guests will be kept updated on gymnastics and tumbling class schedules for tomorrow and jumping in the afternoon.

Confidence in Kids is the Key!

I recently heard about a teenager in Cumming who ended his own life with a gun in the past couple weeks. When I hear of these things, I automatically think of the parents and what could have been so bad, for it to come to this. I think of...

1. Could someone have said one kind word that would have made the difference?
2. What could have been so bad?
3. How could someone or myself "pay it forward" to stop this tragedy?

I have the opportunity once in a while to connect with children when they come into Jumpsters for some active play or a party. This is probably the best part of owning my small business. I appreciate so much the gift of helping kids realize their true potential . and that "they can do it," no matter what it is! There is nothing quite like seeing the sense of accomplishment and pride in a childs face after they have climbed up an inflatable wall or after doing something that just seemed unobtainable. I often think to myself....

1. Do I have any preconceived notions about my children and others that have no basis in reality?

2. If a child knew that they could not fail, how far would they be able to go in life? How much could they accomplish?

3. What impact does optimism and encouragement at early ages play in a childs self-concept and self esteem when they are younger.

My post today is simply a realization that each of us will not be here forever, and that the words we say to our children mean a lot about who they will be in the future. - mark

Jumpsters Hosts Relay for Life Benefit For Shiloh Point Elementary

Theres not much much better then doing a little bit of jumping, a little bit of eating and then ending the evening by throwing a pie in the face of your teacher, principle or vice principle. What a great time and a packed house. Jumpsters donated a 20% of all proceeds to this incredible cause. Thanks Shiloh point for enjoying our "world of fun" and for showing the PIE'd on your morning news. The event was held on Friday, 3/23rd. Check out the link!

February 20, 2007 - Remove The Shield

Today I had dinner with a close friend that I worked with about 6 years ago. He is the salt of the earth and is such an incredible person, family man and a person that everyone respects through his careless giving. This evening we had a conversation after he took me out to dinner and I brought him to Jumpsters to show him what I had been up to lately. That's an understatment. After some business talk, we started talking a little about our struggles that were burdensome. This was not a venting conversation but just one about where we were in our lives and our businesses. After about an hour of standing outside of Jumpsters, I had the clear realization that my friend delivered something in our conversation that will guide my thoughts……hopefully everyday.

God wants us to drop the façade and be who he intended us to be. We try to put on a fake mask, that gives everyone the impression that we are on top of our game, but in reality, we are broken in some way, because it is simply an act. It seems that when we take the shield off and ask people to help us, they now know are burdens and can help us. No one except God knows where you are as you struggle, unless you reach out and tell them. Not just to burden them with another set of problems, but to ask for their help or their prayers . God wants us to let his children know our situation so that we can understand his power through others. So, my gift for the day is a reminder that God want us to be real and the person without the mask and without the façade. It is only when we can be REAL that we can let our guard down, be who we are and ask for help. So go ahead and put your real self out there. There are a lot of people out there that would like to help you. NOW THATS FREEDOM! -mark

The Scoop on Jumpsters

EDUCATIONAL & ACTIVE INFLATABLE ENTERTAINMENT WITH A SIDE SALAD AND SPICED PUMPKIN LATTE

Occasionally nestled within the shopping centers with standard fare filled with nail salons, drycleaners and grocery stores, you find a gem in the rough type place for some quality combination you time and family time. When entering this unassuming neighborhood store that looks from the outside like a cross between Chuck e’ Cheese and Starbucks, you are thrown into a suburban mind game that makes you wonder if you should have a mocha latte or grab your socks and go down an inflatable slide.Jumpsters entertainment which opened in March has broken the rules that separate the food type place and the fun place that you take the kiddo’s. Inside you find a trendy Italian bar and an ornate half wall that creates a degree of separation between mom and little Jenny or Johnny. You feel a little guilty as you plant your bottom on European furniture, surf on your laptop and enjoy the coffee shop experience while the “little cadets” drain their batteries. But this is the point according to the owner Mark Baule. “We have cool food places and we have fun places to play, but the two never seemed to live in harmony until Jumpsters.” “I can’t tell you how many times my wife and I need a 5 minute reprieve to gasp for air between the next business trip, soccer game and teacher conference. Jumpsters creates the bridge between the two and a place to regroup and repriortize to give back.”

The brainchild of two years of research and some help from past members of the Disney Imagineering team, Jumpsters defines organic, cool and fun with its awesome inflatable rides, frozen hot chocolate, safe for the family arcade, magnet wall and glow in the dark glow ball/hopscotch zone. They offer a new spin on a completely private party mostly on weekends where you can literally “open up the bar” for your guests. Also you can drop in for a wide Open Play schedule to come on in and play! Mom will have a melt down when she learns about fresh salads, family pizza night and the JumpsterGYM drop-off workout program! Twenty times down the Spiderman Obstacle Course and magnet creativity time is sure enough physical and mental stimulation to guarantee a solid nap!

Jumpsters also offers an all year long array of classes, seminars and events called JumpsterED that comes to the rescue for kids and parents alike with cool classes such as Story Time, JumpsterGYM, Inflatable Yoga, Manners Matter and much more! The neat thing is you can drop off the little cadets for classes and also take a quick shopping trip! If you can’t find something to do here then you just aren’t trying. “Our guests have spoken loud and clear about the need for a place like Jumpsters!” Sometimes you can have your cake (literally) and eat it to with the kids in tow! Bon Appetite.
